Do you have an elderly parent or grandparent who is always bumping into something and giving themselves a huge laceration on their legs or forearms?  I wonder how many of these have turned into the horrendous leg ulcers which can take months or years to heal?

I suffer from this problem myself and because became such a nuisance and because there was no way I could protect my legs and forearms and because the results were so disabling then I decided to invent a solution.

My solution is Protective Stockings and Sleeves; these are products which made in a similar way to body armour and which have been approved by trials to prevent 97% of all such accidents.

They are comfortable, flexible, very cost-effective and do not attract attention as being something unusual.  They are registered as a Medical Device Class One and from the 14th of December 2011 available for sale.

All people over the age of 60 start to experience fragile skin also known as thinning skin. Fragile skin occurs primarily on the lower legs and forearms and is caused by; the natural ageing process, long term use of topical or oral steroids, chronic sun exposure and inflammatory skin disease.
